Dentistry, Covid-19 & You

We are happy that we are able to provide dental care for you once again. The Ministry of Health has lifted the restrictions that were placed on health care providers Jan 2022, but we are recovering from a pandemic so we will continue to take extra precautions for your protection and for ours. We may postpone certain non-urgent treatments if a patient is unwell.

Everyone who works in this office has been fully vaccinated for the safety of our patients, our families and our community.

Our office has always gone above and beyond typical infection control standards. In order to keep us all protected during the pandemic and in the future, we have further updated our protocols and they will continue to evolve over time for everyone’s safety.

If you are not feeling 100% or are experiencing any symptoms in the days before your appointment, please contact us.

If you are not feeling 100%, Please complete the Provincial Online Covid Self Assessment on your phone or computer.

You can also download it here (PDF) , or download the Word Document version here and then Fill, sign and send to us. Please be sure to contact us if you answer Yes to any of the questions on the day before your appointment. We may need to reschedule you for everyone’s safety.

Update for 2023- our waiting room is back open!

Although it is up to the patient’s discretion, we would encourage that individuals consider wearing a mask to protect our high-risk patients while in our waiting room and common areas.

When you arrive, if you are not well you will be asked to complete the Provincial Online Covid Self Assessment on your phone again and show us the final Self Assessment Result screen. Alternatively we can give you a form to fill out or do it verbally with you.

Please come to the clinic alone. Only the patient will be permitted into the treatment room unless he/she is a young child or other person who must be accompanied.

• We will ask you to use hand sanitizer when you enter the clinic and again as needed. We will ask you to use an anti-viral rinse for 60 seconds before you get in the dental chair.

• Although these updated protocols will feel different, once you are settled in the dental chair, your experience will be very similar to what it has been in the past.

Thank you

We look forward to providing top quality dental care once again. It will take a little adjustment for all of us but these procedures are designed to create the safest environment for you, our other patients and our team. We value your trust and look forward to welcoming you back!
